Which hair removal treatment is right for me?+
It depends on your hair colour, skin type, and goals. Laser hair removal gives the best long-term reduction for most hair colours and is ideal for larger areas. Electrolysis is the only permanently effective method for all hair colours — especially blonde, red, white, and grey — and is perfect for small or stubborn areas. Waxing gives immediate smooth results and can be used standalone or alongside a laser or electrolysis course. We offer consultations to help you choose.
Does laser hair removal work on blonde or grey hair?+
Laser works by targeting the pigment (melanin) in the hair follicle. It is less effective on very blonde, white, grey, or red hair. For those hair colours, electrolysis — which targets each follicle individually — is the recommended permanent option.
Is there any downtime after laser hair removal?+
No — laser hair removal has little to no downtime. You can return to normal activities straight away. Some clients experience mild redness or sensitivity in the treated area for a short time afterwards.
How many laser hair removal sessions will I need?+
Hair grows in cycles, and laser only treats follicles in the active growth phase. Most clients need a course of sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart to achieve their desired level of reduction. We will advise at your consultation.
Can I combine waxing with laser hair removal?+
Waxing removes the hair root, which the laser needs to target — so please do not wax the area being treated with laser for at least 4 weeks before each session. Shaving is fine. Waxing can be used on areas not being laser-treated.
Do you offer waxing for male clients?+
Yes — we welcome both male and female clients for waxing. Male waxing includes chest, back, shoulders, neck, ears and nose, arms, stomach, and full body waxing.
